You should start with a history report to confirm accident status, title status, and service records before you get too far into the process. Should I buy a 2020 Audi Q3 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 37.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 76.7% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.10% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.6/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2019 if:

• At $18,846, the 2019 costs less than the current year's $20,216 average.
• It feels larger and more polished than the previous Q3.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $20,877, the 2021 costs more than the current year's $20,216 average.
• It adds more high-tech safety features and option-package flexibility.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of price, satisfaction, and available inventory, the 2020 is the primary path to consider. If your budget is tighter, the 2019 is the better value play, while the 2021 makes sense if you want the newer feature set and are willing to pay more.
