How much does the 2019 Toyota Corolla cost?

Prices are up 1.53% year-over-year — a sign of continued demand for this model year.

There are 2,045 listings available, which gives you a solid pool to compare prices and condition.

Is the 2019 Toyota Corolla a good car?

Yes — the 2019 Toyota Corolla earns a 4.56/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers consistently praise its affordability, reliability, and excellent gas mileage, and many also like its strong safety features and ease of use. That makes it a sensible fit if you want a practical everyday car with broad appeal and low-stress ownership. With 32.0% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have room to shop selectively.

Is the 2019 Toyota Corolla reliable?

Owners rate it 4.56/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

User feedback repeatedly highlights reliability, and drivers also describe it as dependable and easy to live with over time. The same reviews point to low running costs and trouble-free everyday use, which is exactly what many used-car buyers want from a compact sedan or hatchback. For used buyers, that usually means lower long-term ownership risk if you choose a well-kept example.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Toyota Corolla?

At 54.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and confirm whether any reported damage matches the seller’s disclosure. Then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection so you can check for uneven wear, repair quality, and signs of poor maintenance. Focus on overall condition first, since a clean-looking Corolla can still hide issues that matter over time.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Toyota Corolla?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but should move quickly on the right car.

• Deal availability: 32.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,045 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices are up 1.53% year-over-year.
• Clean inventory: 54.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $14,122, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Toyota Corolla's resale value?

The current average of $15,021 sits slightly above last year's $14,795.

That modest increase suggests the market has held up reasonably well for this model year. If you buy carefully and keep the car in good condition, you should have a decent chance of preserving value better than with a less in-demand compact car. Strong pricing also helps support resale if you decide to sell after a few years.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.56/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Toyota Corolla or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 32.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 54.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices are up 1.53% year-over-year.
• Owners rate it 4.56/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $16,742, the 2020 costs more than the current year's $15,021 average.
• It adds a more stylish design and a more polished feel.

The bottom line: If you want the better value play, the 2019 is the stronger starting point because it combines solid owner satisfaction with a lower average price. If you can stretch for a newer model and want a more refined look and feel, the 2020 is the better secondary path.
