How much does the 2019 Toyota Corolla cost?

Prices have held steady compared to this time last year, signaling a stable and predictable market for this model year.

There are 2,121 listings available, which gives you a solid pool to compare prices and condition.

Is the 2019 Toyota Corolla a good car?

Yes — the 4.6/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers consistently praise its affordability, reliability, and excellent gas mileage, and many also like the strong safety features and easy-to-use layout. That makes it a sensible fit if you want a practical everyday car with broad appeal and low-stress ownership. With 31.4% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a meaningful chance to find a competitive offer.

Is the 2019 Toyota Corolla reliable?

Owners rate it 4.6/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Drivers describe it as reliable, dependable, and a car they can count on for everyday use. The feedback also emphasizes low running costs and trouble-free ownership, which fits the Corolla’s reputation for long-term value. For used buyers, that usually means lower ownership risk if you verify condition and maintenance history before you commit.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Toyota Corolla?

At 53.6% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report before you buy so you can separate clean examples from cars with past damage. Put inspection priority on body panels, paint consistency, alignment, and signs of repaired collision damage. You should also focus on overall condition and maintenance records, since a well-kept car is more likely to deliver the low-hassle ownership experience you want.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Toyota Corolla?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 31.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,121 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 53.6% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $14,125, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Toyota Corolla's resale value?

The current average of $14,777 sits slightly above last year's $14,692.

That small increase suggests the Corolla has held its value fairly well in the near term. For a future seller, that kind of stability can help you avoid steep depreciation if you buy at the right price and keep the car in good condition. Strong demand for practical, efficient compact cars also helps support resale confidence over time.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.6/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Toyota Corolla or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 31.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 53.6% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.6/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $16,580, the 2020 costs more than the current year's $14,777 average.
• It adds a more stylish design and a more polished feel.

The bottom line: If you want the better value play, the 2019 is the stronger starting point because it combines a lower average price with solid owner satisfaction. If you are willing to spend more for a fresher-feeling design and a more refined cabin, the 2020 is the better upgrade path. For price-sensitive buyers, the 2019 is the easier recommendation.
