Inside, the Crosstrek offered a 6.5-inch or an eight-inch touchscreen display, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity became available for the first time.

The interior offered more room, particularly rear-seat legroom, and cargo space expanded to 55.5 cu-ft with the rear seats folded down. Safety and convenience also improved with Subaru’s latest ring-shaped reinforcement frame safety architecture and new EyeSight technologies, plus the Starlink connected services platform with automatic collision notification and SOS emergency assistance. For buyers who want a small crossover that is easy to live with, capable in poor weather, and still practical for everyday use, the 2019 Crosstrek has a lot going for it.
There are a few tradeoffs, though. The engine’s 152 horsepower was described as only a slight increase in output, and that improvement wasn’t noticeable. The model also remained noisy with the CVT, and the Crosstrek Hybrid version had less cargo space than the gas-only models. Love the acceleration power and comfort this car offers. Do not like the automated feature of correcting your driving when passing or getting close to a line in the road. I turned off that feature. But overall, I love this car!!
