The current average of $13,073 sits slightly below last year's $14,071.

That softer pricing can help you buy at a more favorable entry point, but it also means future resale gains may be limited if the market stays steady. Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 RAM ProMaster City or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 29.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 68.9% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.10% compared with last year.

The bottom line: The 2019 is a sensible choice if you want a model year with softer pricing and a decent share of deal-priced listings.
