Is the 2019 Nissan Rogue reliable?

Owners rate it 4.7/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

That kind of feedback suggests you can count on it as a long-term family vehicle if you prioritize comfort and convenience over excitement.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is making sure a specific vehicle has been maintained well and checked carefully before you commit.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Nissan Rogue?

At 56.9% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report before you buy so you can confirm accident records, title status, and service history. A pre-purchase inspection should be a priority, especially if you want to evaluate the condition of the suspension, brakes, electronics, and climate system. Focus on overall condition and maintenance evidence, since those factors matter more than mileage alone on a used crossover like this.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Nissan Rogue?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 31.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 3,183 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.11% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 56.9% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $13,751, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Nissan Rogue's resale value?

The current average of $13,751 sits slightly below last year's $15,131.

That softer pricing can help you buy more affordably now, but it also means future resale gains may be more limited if the market stays soft. If you plan to sell later, condition and maintenance history will matter a lot, because buyers tend to pay more for clean, well-kept examples. Strong demand for practical, comfortable crossovers should still help support interest over time.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.7/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Nissan Rogue or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 31.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 56.9% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.11% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.7/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2018 if:

• At $12,176, the 2018 costs less than the current year's $13,751 average.
• It adds advanced driver assists to a roomy, comfortable, affordable package.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $14,959, the 2020 costs more than the current year's $13,751 average.
• It offers familiar packaging with potentially attractive deals on remaining inventory.

The bottom line: The 2019 is the best all-around pick if you want a well-liked, well-equipped Rogue at a softened market price. If your priority is saving money, the 2018 is the better value play; if you want to compare newer inventory, the 2020 may be worth a look, but you’ll likely pay more.
