Is the 2019 Nissan Rogue a good car?

Is the 2019 Nissan Rogue reliable?

Owners rate it 4.73/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

That said, you should still pay close attention to maintenance records and overall condition, because long-term ownership risk can rise if a used example has been poorly maintained.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Nissan Rogue?

At 58.4% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report before you commit, then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection if the listing has any accident history. Focus on overall condition, maintenance documentation, and signs of wear that could affect long-term ownership costs. Given the model’s reputation for comfort and convenience, a clean, well-kept example is the one most likely to deliver the ownership experience you want.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Nissan Rogue?

This is a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 31.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 3,257 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.57% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 58.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $14,080, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Nissan Rogue's resale value?

The current average of $14,080 sits slightly below last year's $15,570.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point. For future resale, a lower purchase price can reduce your depreciation exposure if you keep the vehicle in strong condition. A clean history and good maintenance will matter more if you want to protect value over time.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.73/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Nissan Rogue or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 31.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 58.4% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.57% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.73/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2018 if:

• At $12,548, the 2018 costs less than the current year's $14,080 average.
• It adds advanced driver assists to a roomy, comfortable, affordable crossover.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $15,385, the 2020 costs more than the current year's $14,080 average.
• It remains practical and easy to live with, but asks you to weigh comfort against clear drawbacks.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of price, owner satisfaction, and available inventory, the 2019 is the primary path to consider. If your budget is tighter, the 2018 is the better price-sensitive alternative, while the 2020 makes sense only if you are willing to pay more for a newer model year.
