## Why it stands out
The 2019 Nissan LEAF stands out due to its evolution over the years, offering a more reliable and enjoyable driving experience. This model year boasts improved handling, an upgraded audio system with standard Android Auto and Apple CarPlay (though not on the base S trim), and a significant enhancement in range and efficiency. With an EPA-rated range of 150 miles, the LEAF is well-suited for daily commuting and urban driving. Additionally, it introduces the “e-pedal” for one-pedal driving, optimizing energy recuperation and enhancing the driving experience. While the model does face criticism for its performance being fairly pedestrian and some of its technology feeling outdated, the value it offers in terms of cargo space and reliability makes it a strong contender in the used electric vehicle market.

3.9 Overall rating
(14 reviews)The leaf is loaded with the features that matter, it is fun to drive and handles well , and will efficiently get me from point a to point b. It handles well on snow and ice, low center of gravity, the heated seats and steering wheel are perfect for Colorado winters and mountain driving.
It is like driving a silent altima. It is a very well sorted out out car. Handling is wonderful. Acceleration is like a 60s muscle car. If I could afford it I would get a newer one with a longer range. Fortunately I dont actually need that. Wanted one of these for years!
I love driving this car. It has a lot of pep and handles very well. The Bose sound system is the best Ive had in a car ever, and there are a few other bells and whistles that make it fun to get into. The range is about 150 miles on a full charge. We are new to EVs, so were challenging ourselves to extend the range as long as possible. We plugged it into our 120 V socket at home and it charges slowly there, but would fully charge overnight. Weve also found lots of fast charging stations within just a few miles of us. If youre looking to get into an electric vehicle, I highly recommend the 2019 Nissan Leaf!!
Does most things quite well, is reliable, doesnt have Tesla speed but enough, range limitation is the biggest downside
Wouldnt recommend it as your only car or for long road trips, however it is ideal for commuting and trips around town.
