How much does the 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLE cost?

Prices have softened 7.87% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,545 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for comparison shopping.

Is the 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLE a good car?

Yes — the 5/5 user rating points to strong shopper satisfaction. The 2019 GLE stands out as a luxury SUV that blends a conservative, familiar character with a major step forward in technology and interior design, and it offers a premium look and feel with strong comfort. It is also slightly larger than before, with added rear legroom and available third-row seating, so it works well if you want a family-friendly luxury SUV with a more upscale cabin. There are 36.6% of listings priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLE reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2019 GLE is described as generally dependable, which supports its case as a used luxury SUV. Its appeal comes from a premium feel, strong comfort, and a wide spread of versions that can suit different needs without straying far from the model’s core character. For used buyers, that means the main long-term ownership risk is less about the concept of the vehicle and more about choosing a well-kept example with a clean service history.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLE?

At 73.3% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report before you commit, then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection from a shop that knows luxury SUVs. Focus on overall condition, signs of prior bodywork, and whether the cabin electronics and comfort features work as intended. Because this model can be expensive when new and complex in higher trims, a careful condition check matters more than chasing the lowest sticker price.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLE?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 36.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,545 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.87% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 73.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $30,263, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLE's resale value?

The current average of $30,954 sits slightly below last year's $33,598.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can make future resale a little more sensitive to mileage, condition, and equipment. If you buy well and keep the vehicle in strong shape, you may be better positioned when it comes time to sell. The current pricing also means you should pay close attention to trim and condition, since buyers will likely compare your vehicle against a fairly broad pool of listings.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLE or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 36.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 73.3% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.87% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $27,281, the 2020 costs less than the current year's $30,954 average.
• It brings a full redesign with a roomier interior and newer technology.

The bottom line: If you want the 2019’s established luxury feel, strong comfort, and broad market selection, it remains a sensible choice. If you’re more price-sensitive, the 2020 is worth a look because it costs less on average and adds a redesigned cabin with newer tech.
