How much does the 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLC cost?

Prices have softened 10.95% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,694 listings available, which suggests you should have a solid range of options to compare.

Is the 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLC a good car?

Yes — the 4.75/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its powerful performance, smooth driving experience, and comfortable interior, and many also like the handling and premium feel that come with the Mercedes badge. For you, that makes it a strong fit if you want a compact luxury SUV that emphasizes comfort, refinement, and everyday usability. With 37.2% of listings marked as good or great deals, the market still offers some attractive opportunities.

Is the 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLC reliable?

Owners rate it 4.75/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a dependable-feeling driving experience, with praise for its smoothness and the kind of quality many Mercedes shoppers expect. At the same time, the model’s reputation is not spotless, so you should treat reliability as something to verify carefully on any used example. For long-term ownership, that means a thorough pre-purchase inspection matters more than usual.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLC?

At 68.3% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and confirm whether any reported damage was repaired properly. Then prioritize a hands-on inspection of the suspension, electrical systems, and overall cabin condition, since those are the kinds of areas that can affect ownership satisfaction. It also helps to focus on how the vehicle drives and whether all comfort and infotainment features work as expected.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLC?

This looks like a selective buyer’s market, where you can find value if you compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 37.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,694 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.95% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 68.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $19,142, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLC's resale value?

The current average of $19,142 sits slightly below last year's $21,496.

That price movement suggests the model has already absorbed some depreciation, which can help future buyers but may limit short-term upside for sellers. If you own one and keep it in strong condition, you may be better positioned than the average listing when it comes time to resell. A clean history and good maintenance records should matter more because shoppers in this segment tend to compare condition closely.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.75/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLC or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 37.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 68.3% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.95% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.75/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $22,811, the 2020 costs more than the current year's $19,142 average.
• It adds a broader technology-and-safety focus with a more polished all-around package.

The 2019 is the better path if you want the stronger value proposition and are comfortable shopping carefully for condition and history. If you can stretch your budget and want the newer-year package, the 2020 is the better secondary path for buyers who prioritize added refinement and features over price.
