Used 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLC for Sale nearColorado Springs, CO

How much does the 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLC cost?

Prices have softened 9.06% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,808 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLC a good car?

Yes — the 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLC earns 4.77/5 from owners and 7.33/10 from our experts. The standout strength is Safety at 10/10.

Drivers consistently praise its luxury features, quick acceleration, comfort, and all-wheel drive capability for winter driving. The overall package also comes through as well-rounded, with strong value for money and a premium feel that fits everyday use.

The trade-offs are clear: the GLC 300 performance is a weak point, and the back seat is cramped. That makes it a better fit if you want a compact luxury crossover for suburban commuting and daily usability than if you regularly need generous rear-seat space.

The market also looks reasonably supportive, with 37.0% of listings marked as good or great deals.

Is the 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLC reliable?

Owners rate it 4.77/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction. Reviewers also describe it as dependable in the ways that matter most to used buyers, pointing to strong value, comfort, and all-wheel drive confidence that helps it feel like a car you can count on.

The expert evaluation reinforces that impression with a polished cabin, strong technology, and a well-sorted overall ownership experience. Mercedes also includes 3 years of connected vehicle services, which adds some convenience early in ownership.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about outright durability confidence and more about making sure the specific vehicle has been maintained properly and hasn’t accumulated hidden wear.

What should I look for when buying a used 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLC?

At 73.2% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the listing price looks unusually attractive. Focus on body condition, signs of prior repair, and whether the cabin and electronics still feel consistent with a premium vehicle.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The GLC 300 is the mass-market model and is described as visually plain, while AMG versions add wider tires, a vertical-bar grille, and a lower stance. The GLC Coupe also brings a fastback roof, and the base model is the one most likely to leave you wanting more visual drama.
• Powertrain: The GLC 300 uses a turbocharged inline 4-cylinder with 255 horsepower and 273 pound-feet of torque, paired with a 9-speed automatic and either rear-wheel drive or 4Matic all-wheel drive. AMG versions step up to a twin-turbo V6 or twin-turbo V8, and the 4-cylinder is the one most likely to feel underwhelming.
• Safety package: Exit Warning Assist is standard for 2020, using rear radar sensors to warn occupants about approaching cyclists or cars after shutdown. The safety content also highlights Pre-Safe Sound and Predictive Brake Priming, and the GLC’s standard forward emergency braking is part of its strong safety story.
• Infotainment: You get a standard 10.3-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, USB-C ports, and an optional 12.3-inch display for the instrument cluster. Wireless device charging is optional, and MBUX adds voice control plus available augmented-reality navigation.
• Fuel efficiency: The GLC 300 4Matic is rated at 21 mpg city, 28 highway, and 24 combined, and the AMG GLC 63 models are estimated at 16/22/18.

Which 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLC trim should I buy?

The 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLC is offered in 4 trim levels: GLC 300, GLC 300 Coupe, AMG GLC 43, AMG GLC 63.

Here's the short version:

• GLC 300: This is the best-value choice if you want the core Mercedes experience without jumping into AMG pricing. It brings the standard 10.3-inch touchscreen, heated front seats, LED headlights, and the broadest everyday appeal, though the 4-cylinder performance is the main compromise.
• GLC 300 Coupe: Choose this if you want the same basic package with a more dramatic fastback shape. It starts at a higher price and comes standard with 4Matic, so it makes sense if style matters more to you than maximum value.
• AMG GLC 43: This is the performance-oriented step up if you want a much stronger engine and a more exciting driving character. It adds the twin-turbo V6 and a more emotional experience, but it costs significantly more than the GLC 300.
• AMG GLC 63: Pick this only if you want the most powerful and most expensive version. It brings the twin-turbo V8 and the most serious performance hardware, but it is far beyond the budget of most used shoppers.

The safety content points to strong crash protection and standard forward emergency braking, so even the lower trims benefit from a strong safety foundation.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLC?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have room to shop carefully and compare listings.

• Deal availability: 37.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,808 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.06% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 73.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $22,811, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLC's resale value?

The current average of $22,811 sits slightly below last year's $25,082.

That decline suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you as a buyer today but may temper future resale upside if you plan to sell soon. If prices stay near this level, a well-kept example should remain easier to move than a neglected one because shoppers still respond to the GLC’s premium badge, safety reputation, and broad appeal.

Condition will matter a lot for future value. A clean history, strong maintenance record, and desirable equipment should help your listing stand out when it is your turn to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.77/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLC safe?

The 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLC was named a 2019 Top Safety Pick+ by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, and it earned five-star ratings in all crash tests from NHTSA.

It earns a 10/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard safety equipment includes Exit Warning Assist, which warns occupants about approaching cyclists or cars after shutdown. The safety content also highlights standard forward emergency braking, Pre-Safe Sound, and Predictive Brake Priming, all of which reinforce the GLC’s strong safety reputation.

Should I buy a 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLC or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 37.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 73.2% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.06% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.77/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2020 brings a standard 10.3-inch touchscreen and Exit Warning Assist.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $25,717, the 2021 costs more than the current year's $22,811 average.
• It adds a more modern compact luxury SUV presentation with broader emphasis on advanced tech and comfort.

The bottom line: If you want the better value today, the 2020 is the smarter buy because prices have eased and inventory is healthy. If you are willing to spend more for a newer model year, the 2021 is the better path for shoppers who want the latest iteration and can justify the higher asking price.
