How much does the 2019 Mercedes-Benz E-Class cost?

Prices have softened 2.41% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,237 listings available, which gives you a solid pool to compare prices and equipment.

Is the 2019 Mercedes-Benz E-Class a good car?

Yes — the 4.67/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Reviewers consistently praise its luxurious feel, smooth ride, and performance, and many also highlight the strong engine options and handling. For you, that means this model fits especially well if you want a comfortable, upscale sedan with a premium driving experience and plenty of prestige. The market also shows 36.1% of listings as good or great deals, which adds some shopping flexibility.

Is the 2019 Mercedes-Benz E-Class reliable?

Owners rate it 4.67/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback emphasizes a reliable-feeling ownership experience, with many drivers describing the car as smooth, trouble-free, and easy to count on over time. That said, as a used luxury car, your long-term risk is less about day-to-day satisfaction and more about making sure maintenance history and condition are solid before you buy.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Mercedes-Benz E-Class?

At 64.3% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and confirm whether any prior damage was repaired properly. After that, prioritize a pre-purchase inspection so you can check for wear, deferred maintenance, and any signs that the car has been used hard. Focus especially on overall condition, because with a used luxury sedan, the difference between a clean example and a neglected one can be significant.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Mercedes-Benz E-Class?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have room to shop carefully and wait for the right listing.

• Deal availability: 36.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,237 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.41% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 64.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $27,091, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Mercedes-Benz E-Class's resale value?

The current average of $27,794 sits slightly below last year's $28,480.

That price movement suggests the model has softened a bit, which can help you buy at a more favorable point in the cycle. If you plan to sell later, the current market indicates you should expect value to depend heavily on condition, mileage, and maintenance history. Well-kept examples should hold up better than neglected ones, especially in a luxury segment where buyers are selective.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.67/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Mercedes-Benz E-Class or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 36.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 64.3% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.41% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.67/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2018 if:

• At $22,857, the 2018 costs less than the current year's $27,794 average.
• It emphasizes refinement and a premium driving experience.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $30,021, the 2020 costs more than the current year's $27,794 average.
• It adds a new base engine and broader body-style appeal.

The bottom line: The 2019 is the best all-around pick if you want a strong mix of satisfaction, pricing, and market availability. If your priority is saving money, the 2018 is the better value path; if you want to spend more for a newer alternative, the 2020 is the natural step up.
