Is the 2019 Mazda MAZDA6 a good car?

With 32.3% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a meaningful chance to find a competitively priced example.

Is the 2019 Mazda MAZDA6 reliable?

At 56% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the car has had any reported damage. Focus on body condition, panel alignment, paint consistency, and signs of uneven wear that could point to past repairs or neglect.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Mazda MAZDA6?

This looks like a moderate market for selective buyers, with enough pricing pressure to reward patience and comparison shopping.

• Deal availability: 32.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 282 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.86% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 56.0% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $17,650, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Mazda MAZDA6's resale value?

The current average of $18,194 sits slightly below last year's $18,729.

That softer pricing can help you buy at a more favorable entry point, but it also means future resale gains may be limited if the market stays flat. If you plan to sell later, condition and documentation will matter more than trying to time a big appreciation move. A clean history and strong maintenance record should help you protect value better than a higher-mileage or accident-affected example.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Mazda MAZDA6 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 32.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 56% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.86% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2018 if:

• At $16,201, the 2018 costs less than the current year's $18,194 average.
• It offers a more upscale feel with a redesigned interior and available turbo power.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2019 if you want the stronger current-market balance of price, satisfaction, and deal availability. If your priority is spending less upfront, the 2018 is the better secondary path, especially if you find one in excellent condition and can verify its history carefully.
