Is the 2019 Mazda MAZDA6 a good car?

With 34.4% of listings marked as good or great deals, you also have a decent chance of finding a competitively priced example.

For used buyers, that points to lower perceived ownership risk, though you should still verify maintenance history and overall condition before committing.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Mazda MAZDA6?

At 55% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report on any candidate and prioritize cars with clean records and consistent service documentation. A pre-purchase inspection is especially valuable here, since condition can vary widely even among similarly priced listings. Focus on bodywork, alignment, tire wear, and signs of uneven repair quality.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Mazda MAZDA6?

This looks like a moderate market where selective shoppers can still find value if they compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 34.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.

• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.62% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $17,625, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Mazda MAZDA6's resale value?

The current average of $17,625 sits slightly below last year's $18,874.

That suggests the market has cooled a bit, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point today. For a future seller, the recent decline means resale value may depend more heavily on condition, mileage, and documentation than on broad market momentum. Well-kept examples should still hold appeal, especially if they present cleanly and are priced competitively.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Mazda MAZDA6 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 34.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 55% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.62% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2018 if:

• At $16,120, the 2018 costs less than the current year's $17,625 average.
• It adds a more upscale feel with a redesign and turbocharged engine.

The bottom line: If you want the stronger overall value proposition and are comfortable shopping carefully, the 2019 is the better primary target. If your priority is spending less up front, the 2018 is the more budget-friendly path and still brings a compelling mix of premium features and performance.
