What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Honda Ridgeline?

At 69.6% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report before you commit, especially if a listing looks unusually well priced. It also makes sense to focus on interior wear and everyday usability features, because those are central to the Ridgeline’s appeal.

What is the 2019 Honda Ridgeline's resale value?

The current average of $22,280 sits slightly below last year's $23,575.

That price movement suggests the Ridgeline has softened enough to create a more approachable entry point for buyers, but it also means future sellers may need to price competitively. If you buy well now, you may have a better chance of limiting depreciation pressure later. The model’s practical appeal and strong owner satisfaction should help support demand when it’s time to resell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Honda Ridgeline or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 35.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 69.6% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.49% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $25,320, the 2020 costs more than the current year's $22,280 average.
• It leans even more into comfort, refinement, and practical everyday usability.

The bottom line:
Choose the 2019 if you want the better value and are comfortable shopping carefully for condition and history. If you’re willing to pay more for a newer model and want a slightly more refined everyday-truck experience, the 2020 is the secondary path to consider.
