CarGurus Analysis: 2019 Honda Pilot
overall
Summary
With 2,317 currently listed for sale and an average price of $20,191, 35.8% of 2019 Honda Pilot listings on CarGurus are rated as good or great deals.
Favorably reviewed: Owners rated the 2019 Honda Pilot 4.9 / 5 stars.
65.2% of 2019 Honda Pilot listings on CarGurus are accident free.
Why it stands out
The 2019 Honda Pilot stands out as a roomy, family-focused midsize SUV with a strong emphasis on everyday usability. It offers plenty of cargo space, easy-to-use technology, and standard advanced safety features, which help explain its appeal to shoppers looking for a practical three-row vehicle. Owners also praise its spacious interior and smooth ride, especially for passengers in the second and third rows.
For 2019, the Pilot’s third-generation updates make it feel well equipped without being overly complicated. Honda Sensing was standard on all trim levels, and the nine-speed automatic transmission was tweaked for smoother shifts. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto were available, though not across all trims, and the lineup also included a hands-free power tailgate and a more efficient engine. On the downside, the Pilot’s fuel economy is only average, the interior materials can feel cheap, and some drivers find the driving experience dull.

The pictures and the definition of this car on Car Gurus was well presented and very accurate . When I actually saw the car, I was well pleased that I was not mislead. I think this car was a good value as it had low miles and had been well kept. It is comparable to a Toyota Highlander, Accura MDX, and Nissan Pathfinder.
