Used 2019 Genesis G80 for Sale nearSaint Louis, MO

How much does the 2019 Genesis G80 cost?

Prices have softened 4.69% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 297 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2019 Genesis G80 a good car?

Yes — the 4.71/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers consistently praise the luxury feel, smooth and quiet ride, and excellent value compared with BMW and Mercedes-Benz, while also highlighting the advanced tech features and respectable performance. For you, that means the 2019 Genesis G80 makes the most sense if you want a premium sedan experience without paying typical luxury-brand prices. With 36.7% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still room to shop selectively.

Is the 2019 Genesis G80 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.71/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

User feedback describes the car as smooth, quiet, and a great value, with many owners emphasizing the premium feel and advanced features they can count on. That kind of consistent praise suggests the ownership experience is generally reassuring for used buyers.

For you, the main long-term risk is less about the car’s appeal and more about making sure the specific example has been maintained well and checked carefully before you buy.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Genesis G80?

At 54.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report on any promising listing and confirm whether the car has had prior collision repairs. A pre-purchase inspection should be a priority, especially if the price looks unusually attractive. Focus on overall condition, repair quality, and signs of wear that could affect long-term ownership.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Genesis G80?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but should move quickly on the best examples.

• Deal availability: 36.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 297 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.69% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 54.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $21,264, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Genesis G80's resale value?

The current average of $21,703 sits slightly below last year's $22,770.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled a bit, which can make resale a little less favorable than it was a year ago. If you buy now, you should expect value retention to depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the car has been maintained. A clean, well-kept example should still be easier to resell than one with accident history or visible wear.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.71/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Genesis G80 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 36.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 54.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.69% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.71/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2018 if:

• At $18,756, the 2018 costs less than the current year's $21,703 average.
• It adds a more performance-focused Sport trim with extra athletic appeal.

The bottom line: If you want the stronger all-around value story and a well-liked luxury sedan, the 2019 is the better primary choice. If your priority is spending less upfront, the 2018 is the smarter secondary path, especially if you like its more performance-oriented character.
