How much does the 2019 GMC Yukon XL cost?

Prices have softened 13.12% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,106 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for comparison shopping.

Is the 2019 GMC Yukon XL a good car?

Yes — the 4.57/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its spaciousness, comfortable ride, and generous cargo space, and they also like the smooth handling for a vehicle this large. That lines up well with its role as a full-size family hauler built for passenger room and utility. With 35.4% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a competitive offer.

Is the 2019 GMC Yukon XL reliable?

Owners rate it 4.57/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience for many shoppers, with praise centered on comfort and everyday usability. That said, you should still expect the usual long-term ownership risks that come with a large, used SUV, so condition and maintenance history matter.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 GMC Yukon XL?

At 62.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and confirm whether any prior damage was repaired properly. A pre-purchase inspection should focus on body condition, alignment, suspension behavior, and signs of uneven wear. Because this is a large, truck-based SUV, you’ll also want to pay close attention to how it drives under load and whether all comfort and convenience features work as expected.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 GMC Yukon XL?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but should move quickly on the best-priced examples.

• Deal availability: 35.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,106 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.12% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 62.7% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $24,782, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 GMC Yukon XL's resale value?

The current average of $24,782 sits slightly below last year's $28,523.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point today. For a future seller, it also means resale value may depend heavily on how well you preserve condition and document maintenance. Well-kept examples should hold up better than average, especially if they remain accident-free and present cleanly to shoppers.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.57/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 GMC Yukon XL or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 35.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 62.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.12% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.57/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2019 is a strong choice if you want the Yukon XL’s space, comfort, and family-hauling capability at a softer price than last year. If you’re price-sensitive, you may want to compare it with nearby years and focus on the cleanest, best-documented example rather than chasing the lowest sticker price alone.
