Used 2019 GMC Sierra 2500HD for Sale nearPhoenix, AZ

How much does the 2019 GMC Sierra 2500HD cost?

Prices have softened 4.12% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 951 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of used trucks to compare.

Is the 2019 GMC Sierra 2500HD a good car?

Yes — the 5/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction, and the 2019 Sierra 2500HD fits buyers who want heavy-duty capability with a more upscale presentation than many rivals. Its broader trim range, Denali and Denali Ultimate availability, and mix of comfort and technology features make it appealing if you want a truck that feels less spartan than some heavy-duty competitors. The market also shows 34.1% of listings as good or great deals, which adds some shopping flexibility.

Is the 2019 GMC Sierra 2500HD reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2019 Sierra 2500HD is described as having known trouble spots that include electrical issues tied to wiring and sensors, hard-shifting automatic transmissions, and glitchy infotainment software and interfaces. It also has reported build-quality concerns such as inconsistent panel gaps, peeling paint, and premature rusting. For used buyers, that means long-term ownership risk is manageable only if you verify condition carefully and avoid trucks with unresolved electrical or body-quality problems.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 GMC Sierra 2500HD?

At 67.4% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and confirm whether any prior damage was repaired properly. Put extra inspection priority on electrical operation, transmission behavior, infotainment function, panel alignment, paint condition, and signs of rust. If a truck shows multiple cosmetic or electronic issues, treat that as a warning sign rather than a minor annoyance.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 GMC Sierra 2500HD?

This looks like a moderate market where selective buyers can still find value if they shop carefully.

• Deal availability: 34.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 951 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.12% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 67.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $38,897, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 GMC Sierra 2500HD's resale value?

The current average of $40,588 sits slightly below last year's $42,330.

That softer pricing suggests the truck has already moved down from its prior level, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point. For a future seller, that also means resale performance will depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the truck has been maintained. Trucks with clean histories and fewer visible wear issues should be easier to move when it is your turn to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 GMC Sierra 2500HD or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 34.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 67.4% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.12% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $47,867, the 2020 costs more than the current year's $40,588 average.
• It adds a more upscale Denali identity with stronger premium appeal.

The bottom line: If you want the better value, the 2019 is the smarter starting point because it combines a lower average price with solid deal availability. If you are willing to pay more for a newer, more premium-feeling truck, the 2020 is the better secondary path.
