Used 2019 Ford Expedition for Sale near West Virginia

How much does the 2019 Ford Expedition cost?

Prices have softened 13.07% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 2,627 listings available, which gives you a solid pool to compare prices and equipment.

Is the 2019 Ford Expedition a good car?

Yes — the 2019 Ford Expedition earns a 4.85/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its spacious interior, smooth ride, and luxurious features, and many also like its performance and safety aspects, especially the turning radius and cargo space. For you, that makes it a strong fit if you want a full-size SUV focused on family hauling, comfort, and modern convenience. With 35.1% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still meaningful market opportunity if you shop carefully.

Is the 2019 Ford Expedition reliable?

Owners rate it 4.85/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a vehicle that feels dependable in daily use, with repeated praise for comfort, space, and the kind of ownership experience people can count on. That said, you should still think about long-term ownership risk in the usual used-SUV way: verify maintenance history and make sure the specific example has been cared for well.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Ford Expedition?

At 72.4% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report before you commit, then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection on any listing that looks especially appealing. Focus on body condition, signs of prior repair, and whether the vehicle’s wear matches its mileage and asking price. If a listing has a clean history and checks out mechanically, that is the kind of example worth moving on quickly.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Ford Expedition?

This is a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 35.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,627 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.07% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 72.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $22,877, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Ford Expedition's resale value?

The current average of $22,877 sits slightly below last year's $26,315.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can help you buy at a better entry point but may also limit short-term upside if you plan to resell soon. If you buy well and keep the vehicle in strong condition, you can reduce the impact of depreciation over your ownership period. Demand should remain supported by the model’s strong owner satisfaction and family-friendly appeal.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.85/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Ford Expedition or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 35.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 72.4% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.07% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.85/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2018 if:

• At $19,557, the 2018 costs less than the current year's $22,877 average.
• It offers a redesigned package with more room, comfort, and towing strength.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $26,123, the 2020 costs more than the current year's $22,877 average.
• It adds three-row comfort and impressive cargo and towing versatility.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of price, owner satisfaction, and current market availability, the 2019 is the primary year to target. If your budget is tighter, the 2018 is the better value play; if you want to spend more for a newer example, the 2020 is the natural step up.
