Why it stands out
The 2019 Ford Edge stands out in the competitive midsize SUV segment due to its impressive interior space and the variety of available trims tailored to different buyer preferences, including the performance-oriented ST trim. While the Edge may feel dated in terms of its interior design, it compensates with a practical layout and a spacious cabin suitable for family outings. The Edge comes with a robust EcoBoost engine that delivers reliable performance, making it an appealing option for those who prioritize both comfort and functionality.
Moreover, the 2019 model introduced a range of standard features, including Ford’s Co-Pilot360 safety suite, enhancing its appeal to safety-conscious buyers. The addition of advanced tech options such as the updated Sync 3 infotainment system brings modern connectivity to the Edge, despite some criticisms regarding the overall feel of its interior materials. Overall, the 2019 Ford Edge makes a compelling case with its blend of space, comfort, and performance, aiming to meet the diverse needs of modern family life.

Love this SUV. More space than the Escape and plenty more power(V6). More features than the escape. Excellent vehicle!

Excellent driver, exceptional roominess front AND rear seat. Tons more space behind the second row than my Lincoln MKC (my trade in). I’m blown away that this Ford Edge is more quiet and rides better than the smaller MKC. Disappointments are no power lift gate, no garage door opener feature. Very comfortable leather seats, and the SEL comes standard with many safety features. So far very satisfied.
