Used 2019 Dodge Journey for Sale nearDetroit, MI

How much does the 2019 Dodge Journey cost?

Prices have softened 11.03% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,171 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of options to compare.

Is the 2019 Dodge Journey a good car?

With a 3.6/5 user rating, the 2019 Dodge Journey lands in mixed territory rather than standing out as a clear winner or a clear miss. Owners commonly point to the spacious three-row seating, the powerful V6 engine, and useful cold-weather features like all-wheel drive and heated seats. Interior design also gets positive mention, even as some reviewers want more storage and stronger acceleration. The current market shows 28.9% of listings as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2019 Dodge Journey reliable?

Owners describe the 2019 Dodge Journey in terms that suggest it can be dependable for some buyers, especially when they value the available all-wheel drive and the ability to handle cold climates. The same feedback also points to concerns around stability, safety features, and backup camera quality, so reliability here is tied closely to how well a specific vehicle has been maintained. For used buyers, that means long-term ownership risk is best managed by focusing on service history and overall condition before you commit.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Dodge Journey?

At 60.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from those with prior damage. Put inspection priority on the backup camera, stability-related behavior on the road, and any signs that the interior or storage areas have been heavily used. If you can, focus on condition first and features second, because the best value here will usually come from a well-kept example rather than the cheapest listing.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Dodge Journey?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer's market, so you can shop with some leverage if you stay disciplined about condition and pricing.

• Deal availability: 28.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,171 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.03% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 60.7% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $10,862, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Dodge Journey's resale value?

The current average of $10,862 sits slightly below last year's $12,208.

That price movement suggests the Journey has softened in the used market, which can help you buy at a lower entry point today. For a future seller, that also means resale value may remain sensitive to mileage, condition, and documented maintenance. If you keep the vehicle clean and well maintained, you'll be in a better position to protect value when it's time to sell.

Should I buy a 2019 Dodge Journey or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 28.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 60.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.03% compared with last year.

The bottom line: The 2019 is the better path if you want a lower used price and are willing to shop carefully for condition. If you're price-sensitive, this year can make sense as long as you prioritize a clean history and a thorough inspection; if you want the strongest overall value, compare it against nearby years and choose the best-maintained example you can find.
