How much does the 2019 Dodge Charger cost?

Prices have softened 5.10% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,936 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for shoppers comparing prices and trims.

Is the 2019 Dodge Charger a good car?

Yes — the 2019 Dodge Charger earns a 4.62/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its powerful performance, comfort, and sporty feel, and many also like the smooth driving experience and V8 power. The Charger’s roomy cabin and practical trunk make it a fit if you want a performance sedan that still works well for everyday use. With 27.2% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still room to shop selectively.

Is the 2019 Dodge Charger reliable?

Owners rate it 4.62/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

User feedback also points to a car that owners enjoy living with over time, especially for its comfort, powerful performance, and smooth driving experience. That said, some shoppers note concerns about gas mileage and narrow tires during acceleration, so long-term ownership risk is more about matching the right version and condition to your needs than about the car’s core appeal.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Dodge Charger?

At 50.9% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report before you commit, then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection on any car that looks especially appealing on price. Focus on condition details that matter most on a performance sedan, including signs of prior bodywork, tire wear, and how the car drives under acceleration.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Dodge Charger?

This is a moderate buyer’s market, so you can be selective without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 27.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,936 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.10% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 50.9% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $19,424, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Dodge Charger's resale value?

The current average of $19,896 sits slightly below last year's $20,964.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled a bit, which can help you buy more carefully now but may also limit short-term upside if you plan to resell soon. For future sellers, the key will be keeping mileage, condition, and history strong enough to stand out in a market where buyers have choices. Strong owner satisfaction can help support demand when it is time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.62/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Dodge Charger or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 27.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 50.9% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.10% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.62/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2018 if:

• At $18,864, the 2018 costs less than the current year's $19,896 average.
• It offers a more retro muscle-sedan feel with available all-wheel drive.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $23,273, the 2020 costs more than the current year's $19,896 average.
• It adds a spacious, tech-forward family-sedan setup with four full doors and five-passenger seating.

The bottom line: The 2019 is the best primary pick if you want a strong mix of performance, practicality, and current-market value. If you are more price-sensitive, the 2018 is the better value play, while the 2020 makes sense if you want to spend more for a newer-feeling package.
