Used 2019 Chevrolet Trax for Sale nearState College, PA

How much does the 2019 Chevrolet Trax cost?

Prices have softened 10.86% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,806 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for comparison shopping.

Is the 2019 Chevrolet Trax a good car?

Yes — the 4.5/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction for a small, budget-friendly subcompact SUV. The Trax’s appeal is its maneuverable size, affordable positioning, and practical packaging, plus the elevated driving position and added space you expect from a crossover. For 2019, it also benefits from smartphone integration and an updated infotainment system, while available all-wheel drive broadens its usefulness if you want extra traction. 26.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2019 Chevrolet Trax reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Trax’s straightforward value-focused design and modest feature set can work in your favor if you want a simple used SUV rather than a more complex one. Its strengths are practicality and affordability, but you should still expect a used example to reflect normal wear from budget-minded ownership. For long-term ownership, your biggest risk is buying one that has been neglected or poorly maintained, so condition matters more than chasing the lowest sticker price.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Chevrolet Trax?

At 62.6% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report before you commit, then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection if the listing has any accident history or incomplete service records. Focus on body condition, signs of repair quality, and how well the interior and electronics have held up, since those details can tell you a lot about how the vehicle was treated. If you’re comparing multiple Trax listings, the cleanest example with the best maintenance history is usually the safer buy.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Chevrolet Trax?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but still move quickly on the right listing.

• Deal availability: 26.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,806 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.86% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 62.6% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $10,877, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Chevrolet Trax's resale value?

The current average of $10,877 sits slightly below last year's $12,202.

That decline suggests the Trax is still a value-first used SUV, which can help you as a buyer but may limit upside if you plan to resell soon. If you buy one, your future resale will depend heavily on condition, mileage, and whether the vehicle has a clean history. Because the market has already adjusted downward, a well-kept example is more likely to hold its appeal than a rough one with visible wear.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Chevrolet Trax or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 26.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 62.6% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.86% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2019 Trax makes the most sense if you want a budget-friendly small SUV with decent inventory and a softer price environment. If you’re price-sensitive, the 2019 is a sensible target; if you want the cleanest possible example, be selective and compare it carefully against nearby years before buying.
