Used 2019 Chevrolet Trax for Sale near Nebraska

How much does the 2019 Chevrolet Trax cost?

Prices have softened 9.96% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,758 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable number of options to compare.

Is the 2019 Chevrolet Trax a good car?

Yes — the 4.5/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction for this model year. The 2019 Trax is positioned as a small, budget-friendly subcompact SUV with a compact footprint, useful packaging, and respectable fuel economy, so it fits you well if you want an easy-to-live-with crossover that stays affordable. It also includes Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus available all-wheel drive, which broadens its appeal if you want everyday practicality with a bit more traction. 28.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2019 Chevrolet Trax reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2019 Trax’s appeal comes from its straightforward, value-oriented design and practical packaging rather than from complexity or high-performance ambitions. Its modest feature content and emphasis on affordability can make ownership simpler than with more elaborate crossovers. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that a budget-focused vehicle may show wear more quickly if it has been heavily used or poorly maintained.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Chevrolet Trax?

At 62% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report before you commit, then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection so you can confirm the condition matches the listing. Pay close attention to signs of prior bodywork, uneven panel gaps, tire wear, and any issues with the infotainment system or all-wheel-drive operation if equipped. Because this model is valued for practicality and affordability, condition matters a lot when you compare one listing against another.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Chevrolet Trax?

This looks like a moderate market where selective buyers can still find value if they shop carefully.

• Deal availability: 28.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,758 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.96% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 62.0% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $11,027, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Chevrolet Trax's resale value?

The current average of $11,027 sits slightly below last year's $12,248.

That decline suggests the Trax has become more affordable for used shoppers, but it also means future sellers may need to price competitively to stand out. If you buy one now, the lower entry price can help offset some depreciation risk, especially if you choose a clean, well-kept example. A model with strong demand in the used market is easier to resell, but you should still expect value to depend heavily on condition, mileage, and maintenance history.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Chevrolet Trax or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 28.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 62% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.96% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line:

The 2019 Trax makes the most sense if you want a budget-friendly subcompact SUV with useful everyday packaging and you can find one with clean history and solid condition. If you are price-sensitive, this year’s softer pricing and decent deal availability make it worth a close look; if you want the best possible value, focus on the cleanest example you can find rather than chasing the lowest sticker price.
