Used 2019 Chevrolet Trax for Sale nearColumbia, SC

How much does the 2019 Chevrolet Trax cost?

Prices have softened 9.47% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,797 listings available, which suggests you have a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2019 Chevrolet Trax a good car?

Yes — the 4.5/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction for this model year. The 2019 Trax is positioned as a small, budget-friendly subcompact SUV that emphasizes maneuverability and affordability, with a compact footprint and useful packaging that make it easier to live with than a larger SUV. It also offers available all-wheel drive and the added convenience of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, which broadens its appeal if you want a practical crossover with a straightforward feature set. 30.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2019 Chevrolet Trax reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction. The 2019 Trax is described as a value-oriented choice with respectable fuel economy, but it is also noted for modest safety and feature content compared with some rivals. That combination suggests a used example can make sense if you prioritize affordability and simplicity over performance or a more upscale equipment list. For long-term ownership, your biggest risk is ending up with a neglected example, so condition and maintenance history matter more than chasing the lowest sticker price.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Chevrolet Trax?

At 62.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from those with prior damage. After that, prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially if the listing price looks unusually attractive. Focus on overall condition, signs of past repairs, and whether the vehicle’s equipment and wear match the mileage and asking price.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Chevrolet Trax?

This looks like a moderate market where selective buyers can still find value if they shop carefully.

• Deal availability: 30.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,797 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.47% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 62.8% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $11,145, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Chevrolet Trax's resale value?

The current average of $11,145 sits slightly below last year's $12,310.

That decline suggests the Trax is still in a buyer-friendly pricing phase, which can help you if you are shopping now but may limit upside if you plan to sell soon. For a future seller, the key takeaway is that this model year is already priced with depreciation in mind, so resale performance will likely depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the vehicle has been maintained. If you keep the Trax clean, documented, and mechanically sound, you give yourself the best chance of holding onto as much value as possible.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Chevrolet Trax or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 30.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 62.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.47% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2019 Trax makes the most sense if you want a budget-friendly subcompact SUV with a practical footprint, available all-wheel drive, and a market that currently favors shoppers. If you are price-sensitive, this year is especially worth a look because the average price has moved down and there are still plenty of listings to compare. If you want the best balance of value and confidence, focus on the cleanest, best-documented example you can find rather than stretching for the cheapest one.
