How much does the 2019 Chevrolet Cruze cost?

There are 737 listings available, which gives you a meaningful amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2019 Chevrolet Cruze a good car?

The 2019 Chevrolet Cruze is a balanced choice if you want a compact car with comfort, safety, and practical features, and its user rating is 3/5. It stands out for strong safety equipment, solid road manners, and a range of powertrains, while the available hatchback body style adds extra versatility for cargo. For you, that makes it a sensible pick if you value everyday usability over excitement. The market also shows 28.2% of listings as good or great deals, which suggests there are worthwhile opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2019 Chevrolet Cruze reliable?

The 2019 Chevrolet Cruze was built around a mix of qualities that were uncommon together in small cars, including strong safety equipment and solid road manners. It also offered a more polished version of the Cruze formula for this model year, with a mild exterior refresh and a standard seven-inch touchscreen across trims. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that you should expect a car whose appeal depends more on condition and maintenance history than on a reputation for being especially robust.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Chevrolet Cruze?

At 56.2% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and confirm whether any reported damage matches the seller’s explanation. Put inspection priority on body condition, panel alignment, and signs of uneven wear, then make sure the car drives smoothly and all electronics work as expected. Because this model’s value depends heavily on condition, a clean, well-documented example is the one to focus on.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Chevrolet Cruze?

This looks like a moderate buyer’s market, so you can be selective without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 28.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 737 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.54% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 56.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $10,403, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Chevrolet Cruze's resale value?

The current average of $10,692 sits slightly below last year's $10,971.

That tells you the Cruze has softened a bit, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point today. If you plan to sell later, the current pricing suggests you should expect steady but not especially strong retention. A well-kept example with clean history and desirable equipment should still be easier to move than one with accident history or visible wear.

Should I buy a 2019 Chevrolet Cruze or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 28.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 56.2% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.54% compared with last year.

Consider the 2018 if:

• At $9,947, the 2018 costs less than the current year's $10,692 average.
• It offers a more unusual diesel-focused appeal.

The bottom line: If you want the more polished version of the Cruze with current-year pricing that has eased a bit, the 2019 is the better primary target. If your priority is spending less up front, the 2018 is the better secondary path, especially if you value its lower price and distinctive diesel availability.
