Is the 2019 BMW X6 a good car?

Yes — the 5/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. The 2019 BMW X6 stands out because it helped define the crossover coupe formula, and by this generation it added a fifth seat, a larger touchscreen, and a cabin that could be ordered with a wide range of luxury and convenience features. It still keeps the core appeal of a stylish, road-focused SUV with strong engines and a more distinctive shape than a conventional crossover. That makes it a good fit if you want a luxury SUV that feels more special and more driver-focused than practical. 34.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2019 BMW X6 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2019 BMW X6’s strengths are clear: stylish design, strong powertrains, and a high level of equipment. Its tradeoffs are just as clear, with reduced cargo space and poor fuel economy among the main drawbacks. For used buyers, that means long-term ownership risk is less about basic appeal and more about whether you’re comfortable living with its compromises.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 BMW X6?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 75.3% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a history report first, then focus on a pre-purchase inspection that checks for signs of prior damage, uneven wear, or deferred maintenance. Because this model is a luxury SUV with a sporty, road-focused setup, condition matters as much as mileage. Pay close attention to how the cabin, electronics, and drivetrain present in person so you can separate a well-kept example from one that has been used hard.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 BMW X6?

This is a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 34.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 231 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.17% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 75.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $24,285, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 BMW X6's resale value?

The current average of $24,469 sits slightly below last year's $27,861.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can help you buy more confidently now but may also limit upside if you plan to resell soon. For a future seller, the softer trend means condition and documentation matter even more, because well-kept examples are more likely to stand out. A clean history and strong presentation can help you protect value when it’s time to move on.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 BMW X6 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 34.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 75.3% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.17% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2019 is the right pick if you want the X6’s distinctive styling, strong equipment list, and a market that currently gives you some negotiating room. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you can also compare nearby years to see whether a lower entry price outweighs the 2019’s balance of features and market value.
