You should run a vehicle history report on any Q7 you’re seriously considering and confirm whether it has accident, title, or service issues. Focus on overall condition and maintenance records, since a well-kept example is more likely to deliver the refined ownership experience you want.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Audi Q7?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 36.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,275 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.17% compared with last year.

What is the 2019 Audi Q7's resale value?

The current average of $18,514 sits slightly below last year's $21,569.

That decline suggests the market has become more favorable for buyers, but it also means sellers may need to price competitively to stand out. If you own a Q7 and plan to sell later, keeping mileage, condition, and service history in strong shape will matter more when the market is softer. Well-maintained examples should still attract interest from shoppers looking for a refined three-row luxury SUV.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.71/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Audi Q7 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 36.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 74.6% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.17% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.71/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $24,014, the 2020 costs more than the current year's $18,514 average.
• It brings a thorough refresh to styling, interior, powertrain, and technology.

The bottom line: Choose the 2019 if you want the better value and are comfortable shopping carefully for condition and history. Consider the 2020 if you want the newer redesign and are willing to pay more for the update. If price matters most, the 2019 is the smarter starting point; if you want the latest version, the 2020 is the upgrade path.
