The 2019 Acura TLX stands out as a premium sport sedan that blends value, comfort, and a broad range of equipment. For 2019, Acura offered the A-Spec Package with both four-cylinder and V6 engine options, giving buyers a more style-focused version without moving away from the TLX’s core mission. The first-generation TLX also had a reputation for offering multiple powertrain choices, and that flexibility helped it appeal to shoppers who wanted a luxury sedan that could be tailored to different priorities.
It also had a strong equipment story for its class. The base TLX included an innovative four-wheel steering system, 17-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights and brake lights, a sunroof, keyless entry and ignition, dual-zone automatic climate control, leatherette upholstery, heated front seats with power adjustability, and a seven-speaker audio system. The optional Technology Package added real leather seating surfaces, voice command capability, navigation, and an ELS 10-speaker premium audio system. For buyers who wanted more driver assistance and a more upscale feel, the 2018 refresh brought an improved infotainment system and more AcuraWatch technologies, and those updates carried into the 2019 model year.
At the same time, the 2019 Acura TLX was not without compromises. The first-generation model was known for a cramped back seat and not much cargo space, and the nine-speed automatic transmission had a poor reputation. Even so, the TLX remained appealing because it delivered a lot of luxury-car content and a comfortable, well-equipped driving experience at a price that many shoppers found attractive.

This car has every safety feature you can ask for and more. For a luxury vehicle, it’s a great vehicle for the value. The car is missing real wood and a racing steering wheel (just kidding). However it could use an automatic trunk closing button to make it official, again kidding. It has everything you can ask for.

Good value for features and how it drives, ASpec package is nice add, easy to drive. Have owned Lexus, Ford, BMW, Chevy, TLX is best value for the money, comfort, fun to drive, much better drive than Lexus I bought new, nearing BMW, but with Honda’s reliability, and thoughtfulness in engineering not always found on the other brands .
