Used 2018 Toyota Camry for Sale nearPensacola, FL

How much does the 2018 Toyota Camry cost?

Prices have held steady compared to this time last year, signaling a stable and predictable market for this model year.

There are 2,945 listings available, which suggests you have a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2018 Toyota Camry a good car?

Yes — the 2018 Toyota Camry earns a 4.6/5 user rating and an 8/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Safety at 10/10.

Owners consistently praise its attractive design, reliable performance, great gas mileage, comfortable ride, and safety features. That lines up well with the Camry’s role as a practical daily driver for work, school, and routine trips, while still giving you a more expressive look than a typical family sedan. With 31.6% of listings marked as good or great deals, the market gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2018 Toyota Camry reliable?

Owners rate it 4.6/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to reliable performance, and the broader review summary reinforces that the Camry is a dependable choice with strong everyday usefulness. The expert driving notes also frame it as a car that does its main job well: bringing you to work, school, practice, and other routine trips without fuss. If you want a used sedan you can count on, this model year fits that brief well.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that lower-trim examples may show the compromises owners mention, so condition and equipment level matter.

What should I look for when buying a used 2018 Toyota Camry?

At 49.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the car has had prior bodywork or multiple owners. Pay close attention to interior condition, trim-specific equipment, and whether the car’s features match what you expect from the listing. Because some owners mention concerns about lower-trim equipment and interior materials, it’s worth focusing on wear, fit, and finish as much as mileage.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The L trim comes with remote keyless entry, Bluetooth hands-free calling, and a USB port, while the LE adds 17-inch alloy wheels, a power driver’s seat, an anti-theft system, and a 60/40 split-fold rear seat. The SE adds a unique front-end design, 18-inch black-finished wheels, a rear spoiler, automatic climate control, and SofTex sport front seats, while the XSE adds dual-zone climate control, a trio of USB ports, a head-up display, a panoramic moonroof, and a large 7-inch color information display. The XLE adds full LED headlights, a bright metallic front grille, 18-inch chrome-finished alloy wheels, a leather-trimmed steering wheel, and upgraded interior trim.
• Powertrain: The base 2.5-liter 4-cylinder makes 203 horsepower, and the XSE version increases that output to 206 horsepower. The XSE and XLE are also available with a 301-horsepower 3.5-liter V6, and all engines use an 8-speed automatic transmission with manual shift mode.
• Safety package: Toyota Safety Sense P is standard, and it includes forward-collision avoidance, lane-departure warning, and adaptive cruise control. A blind-spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert and intelligent clearance sonar is also available.
• Infotainment: The standard setup uses a 7-inch touchscreen with Entune 3.0, Bluetooth connectivity, Siri EyesFree, and Google voice controls for Android users. The XLE V6 and XSE get a larger 8-inch touchscreen, plus a 9-speaker JBL premium audio system and RemoteConnect with Wi-Fi connectivity.
• Fuel efficiency: The 4-cylinder returns an EPA-estimated 29 mpg city and 41 mpg highway, while the V6 returns 22 mpg city and 32 mpg highway.

Which 2018 Toyota Camry trim should I buy?

The 2018 Toyota Camry is offered in 5 trim levels: L, LE, SE, XSE, and XLE.

Here's the short version:

• L: This is the simplest way into the Camry, with remote keyless entry, Bluetooth hands-free calling, and a USB port. It makes sense if you want the lowest-cost entry point and can live without the extra comfort and convenience features found higher up.
• LE: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it adds 17-inch alloy wheels, a power driver’s seat, an anti-theft system, and a 60/40 split-fold rear seat without jumping too far up the price ladder. If you want a well-equipped daily driver, this is the trim to focus on first.
• SE: This trim leans into the Camry’s sportier personality with the unique front-end design, 18-inch black-finished wheels, a rear spoiler, automatic climate control, and SofTex sport front seats. It suits you if style matters and you want a more expressive look and feel.
• XSE: This is the most feature-rich and upscale-feeling choice, with dual-zone climate control, a trio of USB ports, a head-up display, a panoramic moonroof, and a larger 7-inch color information display. It also gets the larger 8-inch touchscreen, JBL audio, and RemoteConnect with Wi-Fi connectivity, so it’s the pick if you want the fullest tech and comfort package.
• XLE: This trim focuses on a more polished, premium presentation with full LED headlights, a bright metallic front grille, chrome-finished wheels, a leather-trimmed steering wheel, and upgraded interior trim. It’s the right fit if you want a more traditional upscale sedan feel.

Toyota Safety Sense P is standard, and the available blind-spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert and intelligent clearance sonar adds useful extra protection.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Toyota Camry?

The market looks selective but workable if you shop carefully.

• Deal availability: 31.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,945 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 49.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $16,871, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 Toyota Camry's resale value?

The current average of $17,585 sits slightly above last year's $17,557.

That small increase suggests the Camry’s used-market value has been holding steady rather than sliding sharply. For a future seller, that kind of stability is helpful because it points to predictable demand and less risk of a sudden drop in value. The model’s broad appeal as a practical, reliable sedan should continue to support buyer interest.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.6/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2018 Toyota Camry safe?

The 2018 Toyota Camry earns a 10/10 safety score from our experts.

Toyota Safety Sense P is standard, and it includes forward-collision avoidance, lane-departure warning, and adaptive cruise control. The Camry also comes with 10 airbags, the LATCH child-seat anchoring system, and a tire pressure monitoring system. A blind-spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert and intelligent clearance sonar is available, which adds useful protection when changing lanes and parking.

Should I buy a 2018 Toyota Camry or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 31.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 49.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.6/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It brings a sportier design and stronger performance than the outgoing generation.

Consider the 2017 if:

• At $14,915, the 2017 costs less than the current year's $17,585 average.
• It offers a mature, well-sorted version of the previous generation.

Consider the 2019 if:

• At $18,594, the 2019 costs more than the current year's $17,585 average.
• It adds outstanding safety ratings and free scheduled maintenance.

The bottom line: If you want the newer styling, stronger performance, and a stable used-market price, the 2018 is the better all-around pick. If your priority is saving money, the 2017 is the value play; if you want newer-model-year benefits and can spend more, the 2019 is worth a look.

How does the 2018 Toyota Camry compare to the 2018 Honda Accord?

Our experts score the 2018 Toyota Camry 8/10 and the 2018 Honda Accord 8.2/10.

The Camry gives you a stronger standard engine, a sportier personality, and a slightly lower average used price. The Accord counters with a bit more efficiency in city driving, a lower starting MSRP, and a larger pool of listings. If you want the more expressive sedan, the Camry is compelling; if you want the slightly better-rated overall package, the Accord edges it.
