Is the 2018 Nissan NV Cargo a good car?

Generally — the 4.3/5 user rating suggests you can feel reasonably confident if the vehicle fits your needs and checks out well in person. That kind of score points to solid owner satisfaction, but you should still compare condition, mileage, and pricing carefully across listings. 30.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so there is still some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2018 Nissan NV Cargo reliable?

Owners rate it 4.3/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is buying a van with hidden wear or poor maintenance history, so condition and service records matter a lot.

What should I look for when buying a used 2018 Nissan NV Cargo?

At 60.2% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report on any promising listing and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection before you commit. Focus closely on body condition, signs of repair, and whether the van’s wear matches its mileage and asking price.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Nissan NV Cargo?

If you find a listing below $14,848, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 Nissan NV Cargo's resale value?

The current average of $15,402 sits slightly below last year's $16,610.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can make future resale a little more sensitive to mileage, condition, and maintenance history. If you buy well now, you may have a better chance of protecting value later by choosing a clean, well-kept example at a competitive price. Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.3/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Nissan NV Cargo or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 30.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 60.2% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.27% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.3/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2018 is a sensible choice if you want a model year with softer pricing and enough inventory to compare options. If you're more price-sensitive, you may want to cross-shop nearby years and focus on the cleanest, best-maintained van you can find rather than chasing the lowest sticker price alone.
