How much does the 2018 INFINITI Q50 cost?

Prices have softened 5.63% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 691 listings available, which suggests a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2018 INFINITI Q50 a good car?

Yes — the 2018 INFINITI Q50 earns a 4.5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers consistently praise its performance, features, and handling, and many specifically like the power and acceleration it delivers. That fits well if you want a midsize premium sedan with a strong mix of power, equipment, and value rather than a heavily reworked luxury car. With 25.9% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2018 INFINITI Q50 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a car that feels dependable in daily use, with praise centered on performance and the overall ownership experience. That said, some drivers mention the ride could be more comfortable and the technology can feel dated, so long-term ownership risk is more about living with age-related compromises than major satisfaction issues.

What should I look for when buying a used 2018 INFINITI Q50?

At 46.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and confirm whether any prior damage was repaired properly. Put inspection priority on body panels, paint consistency, alignment, and signs of uneven wear that could point to past collision work. It also makes sense to focus on overall condition and maintenance records, since a used luxury sedan can vary a lot from one listing to the next.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 INFINITI Q50?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you stay patient.

• Deal availability: 25.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 691 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.63% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 46.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $16,073, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 INFINITI Q50's resale value?

The current average of $16,080 sits slightly below last year's $17,040.

That softer pricing suggests the model has already absorbed some depreciation, which can help future sellers if the market stays steady. Because the Q50 still draws interest from shoppers who want performance and value, well-kept examples should remain easier to move than neglected ones. Condition, mileage, and service history will matter a lot if you want to protect your resale position.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 INFINITI Q50 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 25.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 46.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.63% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2018 is a smart primary target if you want a well-equipped luxury sedan with strong owner approval and a softer used-car price than last year. If you are especially price-sensitive, you may want to compare nearby years and focus on the cleanest, best-documented example rather than chasing the lowest sticker alone.
