Why it stands out
The 2018 Honda Ridgeline distinguishes itself in the highly competitve truck market by offering a unique combination of comfort, innovation, and practicality. One of its most notable features is its unibody construction, which provides a smooth, car-like ride that is rarely found in traditional pickups. Unlike conventional trucks, the Ridgeline features high-standard equipment levels and clever innovations like an in-bed trunk and a dual-action tailgate. With its shared mechanical platform with Honda's popular SUVs like the Pilot, the Ridgeline is designed for buyers who want the utility of a truck without compromising on comfort or ride quality.
The 2018 model builds upon its predecessors with advanced safety technologies and a refined interior equipped with modern infotainment options. Users consistently praise its spaciousness and amenities, although some express a desire for additional features such as XM radio capability. While it may not excel in heavy-duty tasks compared to its rivals, its reliability, efficiency, and innovative design continue to attract a loyal customer base.

I really like the Ridgeline. Ive had it for 2 years and havent had a single problem. It rides and handles much better than my friends Tacoma and it performs well in snow. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a light duty truck.

So far, so good. It’s much more comfortable than the other cars we test drove and meeting all of our expectations. Features are amazing, especially including the truck bed audio and Apple Car Play. The truck is about average price for the year, but feels to be a good value. I can’t think of anything it’s missing in particular yet.

Has lots of great features, power seats , lumbar support, leather seats, stadium seating in the back. Compares favorably to Ford Ranger and Toyota Tacoma. It is missing XM radio capability. Very short sighted on Honda’s part.
