Why it stands out
The 2018 GMC Terrain stands out with its redesigned aesthetic, shifting from a bolder, boxy look to a more streamlined, modern profile. This compact crossover offers buyers a choice of three engines and numerous trim levels, allowing for a customizable experience to suit different preferences and driving needs. While the base engine may not have the muscle some buyers expect, the available turbocharged 2.0-liter engine brings a performance edge that enhances the driving experience. The Terrain's interior has seen significant upgrades in terms of materials and layout, though some elements still leave room for improvement regarding perceived quality. Despite its appealing tech offerings and spacious cargo areas, the expert reviews suggest it falls short in safety ratings, particularly in rear seat protection, which may deter family-oriented buyers. These well-rounded features make the Terrain an appealing option, although its value proposition compared to competitors like the Honda CR-V deserves consideration.

It’s the Denali so it has everything you need plus more. Only thing that would make it better would be a V6 but this 2.0 turbo has major get up and go.

The car is amazing and of great value. We purchased this vehicle for under the market value and it is in excellent condition. I did a thorough walk around and probably looked like an idiot looking for the smallest dents and scratches. The vehicle has great options, panoramic roof and good quality materials, especially for the price. What a steal my wife got!!!!

This car exceeded my highest expectations. Very nice ride, appropriate amount of room and has a very sporty feel. Has a lot of extra features that make it over all a very nice care. The push gear buttons will take some time to get use to but over all very very cool.

I like the car, but the brakes are a little sensitive and the pick-up (from a stop) can be jerky. Otherwise, it is smooth, comfortable, and a quiet ride.
