Why it stands out
The 2018 GMC Sierra 2500HD distinguishes itself in the heavy-duty truck market with its powerful performance, ample cabin space, and comfortable seating. Owners particularly appreciate the array of options available, which allow for a customizable driving experience tailored to various needs. However, some users have raised concerns regarding the truck's pricing and reported issues with rust on the undercarriage, which may affect its suitability for heavy-duty tasks. While it shares a platform with the Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD, the Sierra models are designed to offer a more upscale experience with better interior finishes and additional technology features, setting it apart from rivals. Notably, the Sierra 2500HD has a strong reputation for reliability, especially with its optional Duramax diesel engine, making it a solid choice for those needing robust performance in a pickup truck.

Entire undercarriage is covered in rust. All control arms and linkages are in extremely poor condition from rust to the point I wouldn’t feel safe driving it. Let alone using it for its intended purpose for heavy duty towing.
