How much does the 2018 Chrysler Pacifica cost?

Prices have softened 9.10% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 2,675 listings available, which suggests you have a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2018 Chrysler Pacifica a good car?

Yes — the 2018 Chrysler Pacifica earns a 4.5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners most often praise its advanced technology, safety features, and spaciousness, and many describe it as comfortable and well equipped for family use. That lines up with its role as a practical minivan with a more upscale feel and flexible seating and cargo space. With 34.5% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2018 Chrysler Pacifica reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

User feedback also points to a dependable ownership experience for many buyers, with praise centered on comfort, technology, and family-friendly usability. At the same time, some owners mention transmission reliability concerns, so you should treat condition and maintenance history as especially important on the used market. For long-term ownership, that means a careful pre-purchase check matters more than usual.

What should I look for when buying a used 2018 Chrysler Pacifica?

At 66.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report before you commit, then prioritize a thorough inspection of bodywork, alignment, and repair quality. Focus on signs of wear that could affect family use, especially around the transmission and other major mechanical systems. If a listing has incomplete records or visible inconsistencies, move on unless the price clearly compensates for the risk.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Chrysler Pacifica?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but should move quickly on the best listings.

• Deal availability: 34.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,675 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.10% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 66.7% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $13,450, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 Chrysler Pacifica's resale value?

The current average of $13,451 sits slightly below last year's $14,797.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help future buyers but may limit near-term upside for sellers. If you own one, strong condition and clean history will matter more when it comes time to resell. A well-kept example should still attract family shoppers looking for space and practicality.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Chrysler Pacifica or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 34.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 66.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.10% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2017 if:

• At $11,808, the 2017 costs less than the current year's $13,451 average.
• It offers a fresh-start redesign with a clean-sheet platform.

The bottom line: Choose the 2018 if you want the stronger value balance between price, owner satisfaction, and modern family features. If your top priority is spending less upfront, the 2017 is the better price-sensitive path, especially if you find one in excellent condition.
