CarGurus Analysis: 2018 Chrysler 300

Summary
With 78 currently listed for sale near Fort Worth, TX and an average price of $16,614.00, 17.9% of 2018 Chrysler 300s for sale on CarGurus are rated as good or great deals.
Favorably reviewed: Owners rated the 2018 Chrysler 300 4.75 / 5 stars.
73.1% of 2018 Chrysler 300 models on CarGurus are accident free.
Why it stands out
The 2018 Chrysler 300 stands out as a big, rear-wheel-drive American sedan that blends classic styling with a roomy, upscale feel. By this point in its run, the car had already been updated with a softer exterior look, a more upscale cabin, and major improvements to the UConnect touchscreen infotainment system. It also offered available adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, and lane-keep assist, which helped give the 300 a more modern edge without losing its traditional full-size-sedan character.
What makes the 2018 model especially appealing is the way it balances comfort, power, and everyday usability. Chrysler’s 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 and 5.7-liter Hemi V8 gave buyers strong engine choices, and the eight-speed automatic transmission was standard across the lineup by this point. AWD was still limited to V6 models, and that setup could be a plus for buyers who wanted extra confidence in poor weather. Owners also tend to praise the 300’s luxurious feel and spacious interior, though the infotainment system has drawn some criticism, and the car’s size and fuel appetite remain part of the tradeoff.

The features that came with the car for the price were great and exactly what I was looking for and more. The car with all the upgraded features for the specific model I had were below the market value was a great value. I would compare it to a dodge charger.

Reviewed a 2018 Chrysler C RWD on Aug 21, 2022
I purchased my 2018 300C in 2019 and it currently has just over 24,000 miles. I test drove a Charger RT and a Taurus SHO before purchasing my black with mocha interior Chrysler 300C . Comparing prices, the Chrysler was the best choice hands down. Fantastic heated and cooled Napa leather seating. Navigation bliss, heated /cooled cup holders. 20 rims and a 5.7 Hemi. A solid Luxury and performance full size sedan. Ive had an issue with the Uconnect infotainment system that had my car setting at my dealerships service lot for 30 days waiting for parts but was supplied with a loaner vehicle and some financial assistance from Chrysler customer care. Its a nice sedan, but isnt the best regarding fuel mileage but I purchased the 300C because of the fantastic price compared to the aforementioned vehicles and the luxury and performance it offered. I keep hearing the 300 is being discontinued. Its basically the same looking vehicle since 2015, but i still like its unique and classic look. Its a solid full-size sedan that has room for 5 and a large trunk for luggage. I recommend if your in the market for a full size sedan. Take a look at the Chrysler 300 before they are discontinued

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from cars with past damage. Should I buy a 2018 Chrysler 300 or consider a different year?
If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:
Choose the 2018 if:
- 23.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- At 54.4% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
- Price trend: Prices have softened 5.14% compared with last year.
- Owners rate it 4.75/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
Consider the 2017 if:
- At $14,039, the 2017 costs less than the current year's $15,004 average.
- It offers a broad trim range with strong luxury appeal.
The bottom line: If you want the better-balanced shopping target, the 2018 is the stronger default because it combines solid owner satisfaction with a softer price trend and decent deal availability. If your priority is saving money upfront, the 2017 is the better value play, especially if you find one in clean condition and with the features you want.
