Summary
With 725 currently listed for sale and an average price of $14,936, 28.6% of 2018 Chrysler 300 listings on CarGurus are rated as good or great deals.
Favorably reviewed: Owners rated the 2018 Chrysler 300 4.75 / 5 stars.

Why it stands out
The 2018 Chrysler 300 stands out as a big, rear-wheel-drive American sedan that still leans into classic luxury-car presence. By this point in its run, the 300 had already been updated with a softer exterior look, a more upscale cabin, and a more modern set of available driver-assistance features. It also offered the kind of roomy, full-size accommodations that made it appealing to buyers who wanted something spacious without moving into a much larger vehicle.
For 2018, the 300’s appeal was also tied to its powertrain choices and long-running durability. The lineup included Chrysler’s 3.6-liter Pentastar V6, the 5.7-liter Hemi V8, and automatic transmissions, while all-wheel drive remained available only with V6 models. The car also benefited from the UConnect system updates that had added Apple CarPlay and Android Auto in 2017. At the same time, buyers should know that the 300’s size comes with a big appetite for fuel, and some owners have reported infotainment issues, so it is a comfortable and capable sedan rather than a particularly sporty one.

The features that came with the car for the price were great and exactly what I was looking for and more. The car with all the upgraded features for the specific model I had were below the market value was a great value. I would compare it to a dodge charger.

Reviewed a 2018 Chrysler C RWD on Aug 21, 2022
I purchased my 2018 300C in 2019 and it currently has just over 24,000 miles. I test drove a Charger RT and a Taurus SHO before purchasing my black with mocha interior Chrysler 300C . Comparing prices, the Chrysler was the best choice hands down. Fantastic heated and cooled Napa leather seating. Navigation bliss, heated /cooled cup holders. 20 rims and a 5.7 Hemi. A solid Luxury and performance full size sedan. Ive had an issue with the Uconnect infotainment system that had my car setting at my dealerships service lot for 30 days waiting for parts but was supplied with a loaner vehicle and some financial assistance from Chrysler customer care. Its a nice sedan, but isnt the best regarding fuel mileage but I purchased the 300C because of the fantastic price compared to the aforementioned vehicles and the luxury and performance it offered. I keep hearing the 300 is being discontinued. Its basically the same looking vehicle since 2015, but i still like its unique and classic look. Its a solid full-size sedan that has room for 5 and a large trunk for luggage. I recommend if your in the market for a full size sedan. Take a look at the Chrysler 300 before they are discontinued

How much does the 2018 Chrysler 300 cost?
| Metric | Value |
|---|---|
| Current Average Price | $14,943 |
| Year-Round Low | $14,699 |
| Year-Round High | $15,801 |
| Average Price a Year Ago | $15,810 |
| Change vs. Last Year | −5.48% |
Prices have softened 5.48% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.
There are 709 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.
Is the 2018 Chrysler 300 a good car?
Yes — the 2018 Chrysler 300 earns a 4.75/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers consistently praise its luxurious feel, comfort, and spacious interior, and many also like the quality features and available all-wheel drive for snowy conditions. In practical terms, that makes it a strong fit if you want a roomy full-size sedan with a relaxed personality rather than a sporty one. With 29.3% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have room to shop selectively.
Is the 2018 Chrysler 300 reliable?
Owners rate it 4.75/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.
User feedback also points to a dependable ownership experience, with drivers highlighting comfort and the kind of trouble-free daily use that helps a large sedan feel easy to live with. The long-term appeal is strongest if you value a spacious, comfortable cruiser and are willing to stay on top of maintenance and infotainment-related concerns.
What should I look for when buying a used 2018 Chrysler 300?
At 53.6% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
You should start with a vehicle history report and confirm whether any prior damage was repaired properly. Put inspection priority on body panels, alignment, and signs of uneven wear, since those can reveal past collision work. You should also focus on overall condition and make sure the infotainment system works as expected, because that has been a pain point for some owners.
Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Chrysler 300?
This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile options.
- Deal availability: 29.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Inventory: There are 709 listings available.
- Price trend: Prices have softened 5.48% compared with last year.
- Clean inventory: 53.6% of listings are accident-free.
If you find a listing below $14,699, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.
What is the 2018 Chrysler 300's resale value?
The current average of $14,943 sits slightly below last year's $15,810.
That softer pricing suggests the model is currently more buyer-friendly than seller-friendly, which can limit upside if you plan to resell soon. If you buy at the right price, you may protect more of your value over time, but a seller today should expect a market that rewards well-kept examples more than average ones. Strong condition and a clean history matter more when the market is already leaning lower.
Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.75/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.
Should I buy a 2018 Chrysler 300 or consider a different year?
If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:
Choose the 2018 if:
- 29.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- At 53.6% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
- Price trend: Prices have softened 5.48% compared with last year.
- Owners rate it 4.75/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
Consider the 2017 if:
- At $13,980, the 2017 costs less than the current year's $14,943 average.
- It offers clear luxury appeal with a bold presence.
The bottom line: If you want the better-balanced choice, the 2018 is the stronger pick because it combines solid owner satisfaction with a softer price trend and decent deal availability. If your main goal is to spend less upfront, the 2017 is the better secondary path, especially if you find one in strong condition and can live with the older model year’s lower average price.
