Accident-free inventory is solid at 77.4% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should start with a history report to confirm the car’s background and look for any accident or title issues. After that, prioritize a thorough inspection of the exterior, interior, and mechanical condition, since sports cars can vary a lot in how they were driven and cared for. Pay close attention to signs of wear, delivery condition, and any cosmetic issues, because the best used example is usually the one that has been preserved rather than just driven.

Should I buy a 2018 Chevrolet Corvette or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 35.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 77.4% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices are up 3.47% year-over-year.

The bottom line: The 2018 is a strong choice if you want a well-liked Corvette with solid owner satisfaction, a healthy used-car market, and a good mix of performance and everyday usability. If you’re more price-sensitive, a nearby year may give you a lower entry point, but the 2018 remains the better pick when you want a model year that buyers clearly respond to.
