Why it stands out
The 2018 BMW 2 Series continues the brand's legacy of delivering fun-to-drive vehicles that blend performance with luxury. Designed as an entry point into BMW's lineup, it emphasizes rear-wheel drive dynamics and offers an engaging driving experience, particularly for those who appreciate a sporty feel. The model stands out with its range of powerful engine options, including a potent turbocharged inline-four. Plus, the interior quality is a highlight, with well-crafted materials that add a touch of sophistication. Despite its strengths, some buyers may find the back seat a bit cramped, which can be a consideration for those needing more passenger space. Amazing daily driver. More comfortable than other cars in its class and the b58 engine pulls and pulls. Luckily the m240i is offered in manual and the auto rev matching is something I never knew I would like as much as I do (I do wish it had a dedicated button to turn it off) as the only way is to turn it off is to turn traction control off. Overall amazing car with massive potential tuning wise. 450whp is possible for under 1000 dollars.

Missing Navigation, although we did believe it was included in this model. Missing heated seats. Otherwise, car has been outstanding. We compared to the Audi A3 cabriolet and liked the BMW much better in terms of styling.

80 to 90% of the M2 which I used to own. M240i is more compliant in suspension than M2 which makes it less fatiguing on the roads we have here in NV. Has plenty of power and more torque than an M2. It will not be the track weapon the M2!is but with a few adjustments it can be close in a more compliant package. Brakes are not M2 caliber, but that can be modified. Think of it as M2 “not too lite”.
