Used 2017 Subaru WRX STI for Sale near Oklahoma

How much does the 2017 Subaru WRX STI cost?

Prices have held steady compared to this time last year, signaling a stable and predictable market for this model year.

There are 247 listings available, which gives you a modest pool to compare condition, mileage, and modifications.

Is the 2017 Subaru WRX STI a good car?

Yes — the 5/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction, and the 2017 Subaru WRX STI’s appeal comes from its rally-inspired performance, standard all-wheel drive, and everyday practicality. The overview also highlights its serious performance character, driver involvement, and useful cabin equipment, while noting that the ride is rough, the interior materials are cheap, and the sound system is underwhelming. For you, that means this is a strong fit if you want a fast, engaging sedan that still works as a daily driver. 34.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2017 Subaru WRX STI reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview suggests a car built around durable performance hardware and a focused driving experience, but it also makes clear that many examples may have been heavily used, abused, or modified. For used buyers, the biggest long-term ownership risk is ending up with a car whose condition does not match its reputation, so a careful inspection matters more than the badge alone.

What should I look for when buying a used 2017 Subaru WRX STI?

At 56.3% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a full vehicle history report so you can screen for accidents, title issues, and signs of repeated ownership changes. Then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially on the drivetrain, suspension, and any areas that could reflect hard use or modifications. Focus on overall condition and maintenance evidence, because this model’s performance-oriented nature makes careful upkeep especially important.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2017 Subaru WRX STI?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile listings if you know what to prioritize.

• Deal availability: 34.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 247 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 56.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $21,016, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2017 Subaru WRX STI's resale value?

The current average of $22,140 sits slightly above last year's $22,103.

That small increase suggests the market has stayed stable rather than swinging sharply in either direction. For a future seller, that kind of pricing pattern can be helpful because it points to predictable demand and fewer surprises when you decide to list. If you keep the car in strong condition and avoid obvious signs of abuse or modification, you should be better positioned to protect value.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2017 Subaru WRX STI or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2017 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2017 if:

• 34.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 56.3% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of performance, practicality, and market stability, the 2017 is a solid primary choice. If you are especially price-sensitive, you may want to compare nearby years and focus on the cleanest, best-documented example rather than chasing the lowest sticker price.
