Used 2015 Subaru WRX STI for SaleNationwide

How much does the 2015 Subaru WRX STI cost?

Prices have held steady compared to this time last year, signaling a stable and predictable market for this model year.

There are 128 listings available, which gives you a modest pool of used examples to compare.

Is the 2015 Subaru WRX STI a good car?

Yes — the 5/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction for this model year.

The 2015 Subaru WRX STI is presented as a focused performance sedan with rally roots and standard all-wheel drive, so you get serious speed and all-weather capability in one package. It is also described as a good blend of serious performance and day-to-day practicality, which makes it appealing if you want a performance car that can still handle everyday use.

That said, the same overview also makes clear that you should expect compromises such as a stiff suspension, a tight back seat, and a cabin that leans more functional than upscale. With 32.8% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have room to shop selectively.

Is the 2015 Subaru WRX STI reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview suggests the car’s appeal comes from its robust performance hardware, standard all-wheel drive, and later-generation refinement compared with the earliest versions. It also emphasizes that this model year is a serious road-going performance machine rather than a comfort-first sedan.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that many examples may have been heavily used, abused, or modified, so condition and maintenance history matter a great deal.

What should I look for when buying a used 2015 Subaru WRX STI?

At 58.6% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and confirm whether the car has been in any accidents, modified, or tracked hard. A pre-purchase inspection should focus on signs of abuse, wear from performance driving, and whether maintenance has been kept up consistently. Pay close attention to overall condition, since the overview notes that many examples may have been heavily used.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2015 Subaru WRX STI?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 32.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 128 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 58.6% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $18,478, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2015 Subaru WRX STI's resale value?

The current average of $19,374 sits slightly below last year's $19,376.

That small change suggests the market has been stable, which can help future sellers because it reduces the risk of sharp value swings. If you buy well and keep the car in strong condition, you are more likely to preserve value in a market that has not been moving dramatically. The model’s enthusiast appeal also helps support demand when it is presented cleanly and honestly.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2015 Subaru WRX STI or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2015 if:

• 32.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 58.6% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2015 is a strong choice if you want the WRX STI’s performance-first character and you can verify that a specific car has been cared for properly. If you are especially price-sensitive, you may want to compare nearby years and focus on the cleanest, best-documented example rather than chasing the lowest sticker price.
