How much does the 2017 Porsche Panamera cost?

Prices have held steady compared to this time last year, signaling a stable and predictable market for this model year.

There are 321 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2017 Porsche Panamera a good car?

Yes — the 2017 Porsche Panamera earns a 5/5 user rating and an 8.5/10 expert rating. The model scores 10/10 across Look and feel and Performance.

Owners consistently praise the power, handling, and luxury features, especially in sports mode, and they also value the spacious interior. That lines up with the Panamera’s use case as a practical four-door that still delivers a Porsche-style driving experience. Deal availability is healthy, with 31.2% of listings marked as good or great deals.

Is the 2017 Porsche Panamera reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a car that feels powerful, dependable, and enjoyable to live with over time, especially when you want strong performance and luxury in the same package. The expert test drive notes that the Panamera is engineered to extremes, which supports the impression that it is built for serious long-term use. Porsche’s pricing and option structure can make ownership expensive, so your biggest used-buyer risk is paying a premium for a car that may also carry higher running costs.

What should I look for when buying a used 2017 Porsche Panamera?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 76.9% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially on a car with this much performance and technology. Focus on overall condition, signs of heavy use, and whether the car’s equipment and maintenance history match the asking price. Because depreciation can be steep on some examples, condition matters even more when you compare listings.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The cabin is described as elegant and expensive, with four bucket seats, a shiny black dashboard, and a full-leather interior in the Turbo model. The base car is less lavish than the upper trims, so you should pay close attention to how much comfort and presentation you’re getting for the money.
• Powertrain: The Panamera lineup includes a 3.0-liter single-turbo V6 with 330 horsepower in the Panamera and Panamera 4, a 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6 with 440 hp in the Panamera S and 4S, a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 with 550 horsepower in the Turbo, and hybrid versions with additional electric-motor output.
• Safety package: Night vision with pedestrian detection, auto-braking, lane-keep assist, and other active safety features are available. Porsche does not go as far with safety as some rivals, so you should check carefully for the driver-assistance equipment you want.
• Infotainment: Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard, and the system includes LTE, Wi-Fi, fast response, and a highly intuitive interface. The car also offers advanced navigation and connected features, plus available premium audio and massage functions.
• Fuel efficiency: The Turbo is EPA-rated at 18 mpg city and 25 highway.

Which 2017 Porsche Panamera trim should I buy?

The 2017 Porsche Panamera is offered in 6 trim levels: Panamera, Panamera 4, Panamera S, Panamera 4S, Panamera Turbo, Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid.

Here's the short version:

• Panamera: This is the entry point if you want the Panamera experience with the 3.0-liter V6 and rear-wheel drive. It gives you the core Porsche character, but you should expect fewer luxury and performance extras than the higher trims.
• Panamera 4: This adds all-wheel drive to the base formula, making it the better pick if you want extra traction without jumping to a more expensive performance model.
• Panamera S: This trim steps up to the 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6 with 440 horsepower, so it is the better choice if you want a stronger performance balance without going all the way to the V8 models.
• Panamera 4S: This is the best-value choice for many shoppers because it combines the stronger twin-turbo V6 with all-wheel drive, giving you a more complete performance-and-traction package.
• Panamera Turbo: This is the standout performance trim, with the 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 and the most dramatic acceleration and handling character in the lineup.
• Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid: This is the most powerful version in the range, pairing the V8 with electric assistance for maximum output and the most advanced powertrain in the lineup.

Porsche’s active safety features are available, but the brand does not go as far with safety as some rivals.
