Used 2017 Nissan Altima for Sale nearSeattle, WA

How much does the 2017 Nissan Altima cost?

Prices have softened 7.47% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,717 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of options to compare.

Is the 2017 Nissan Altima a good car?

Yes — the 4.9/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its reliability, comfort, and fuel efficiency, and they also like its smooth handling and spacious interior. For you, that makes it a sensible pick if you want a roomy, efficient midsize sedan that emphasizes easy transportation, with all-wheel drive available for added versatility. With 25.6% of listings marked as good or great deals, the market still offers some attractive opportunities.

Is the 2017 Nissan Altima reliable?

Owners rate it 4.9/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also highlights reliability, along with comfort and fuel efficiency, which is encouraging if you want a used sedan you can count on. That kind of response suggests the car has earned trust over time rather than just initial appeal. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is making sure the specific car you choose has been well maintained and not worn down by prior damage or neglect.

What should I look for when buying a used 2017 Nissan Altima?

At 46.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from cars with past damage. After that, prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially if the listing price looks unusually attractive. Focus on overall condition, maintenance evidence, and how the car drives, since those details matter more when a large share of inventory has prior incidents.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2017 Nissan Altima?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find value.

• Deal availability: 25.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,717 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.47% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 46.8% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $9,704, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2017 Nissan Altima's resale value?

The current average of $9,769 sits slightly below last year's $10,558.

That decline suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy more confidently now but may limit upside if you plan to resell soon. If you keep the car in strong condition and avoid overpaying, you can reduce the impact of that softer pricing trend. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.9/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2017 Nissan Altima or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2017 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2017 if:

• 25.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 46.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.47% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.9/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2016 if:

• At $9,292, the 2016 costs less than the current year's $9,769 average.
• It offers a refreshed design with strong value and a comfortable, accommodating cabin.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2017 if you want the stronger current-market mix of value, owner satisfaction, and available inventory. If your priority is saving money upfront, the 2016 is the better secondary path because it undercuts the 2017’s average price while still delivering a practical, comfortable sedan.
