Why it stands out
The 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLS is a standout in the luxury SUV segment, primarily due to its impressive combination of comfort, performance, and elegant design. Owners appreciate the smooth and powerful driving experience alongside the high-quality materials found throughout the interior. This model notably provides ample seating for families, with the capability to accommodate up to seven passengers, making it a practical choice for those in need of space without sacrificing luxury.
While it excels in many aspects, some drivers have pointed out that it may not offer as much interior space as competitors like the Cadillac Escalade or Lincoln Navigator. There’s also feedback about missing advanced tech features that some may expect in a luxury vehicle at this price point. Nevertheless, for buyers looking for a refined and capable SUV, the 2017 GLS delivers a compelling option bolstered by Mercedes-Benz's renowned engineering quality.
