Used 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLA for Sale nearCharlotte, NC

How much does the 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLA cost?

Prices have softened 12.90% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 488 listings available, which gives you a meaningful amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLA a good car?

Yes — the 4.7/5 user rating suggests strong owner satisfaction. The 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLA stands out as a small luxury crossover that leans more toward style and premium feel than outright practicality, and it was positioned as the least expensive Mercedes-Benz SUV. If you want a premium interior, a sporty look, and a compact footprint, it fits that use case well, though its small size means you should not expect maximum utility. 34.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLA reliable?

Owners rate it 4.7/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLA uses a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, and it was offered with front-wheel drive or 4Matic all-wheel drive. It also gained Apple CarPlay and Android Auto for 2017, which adds to its everyday appeal. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that a compact luxury crossover with a premium drivetrain and tight packaging can be less forgiving if maintenance has been deferred.

What should I look for when buying a used 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLA?

At 58.4% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from cars with prior damage. After that, prioritize a thorough inspection of the body, interior, and cargo area, since this model’s small footprint and limited utility make condition especially important. Focus on signs of wear, repair quality, and whether the car still feels consistent with the premium experience you expect.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLA?

This looks like a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 34.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 488 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.90% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $12,466, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLA's resale value?

The current average of $12,521 sits slightly below last year's $14,376.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point today. For a future seller, that also means resale value may depend heavily on how well the car is maintained and how clean its history is. If you buy carefully and keep the vehicle in strong condition, you give yourself a better chance of holding value relative to similar listings later.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.7/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLA or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2017 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2017 if:

• 34.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 58.4% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.90% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.7/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2017 model year makes sense if you want the combination of a lower average price, solid owner satisfaction, and a premium small-crossover feel. If you are especially price-sensitive, you can use the softer market to shop carefully and focus on the cleanest, best-documented examples rather than rushing into the first attractive listing.
