If you want a compact crossover with some legitimate off-roading capability, the all-new Jeep Compass is worth checking out—especially if you don’t mind paying more for the Trailhawk trim. Jeep designed the new Compass to fill the niche between the tiny Renegade and the larger Cherokee.
