You should start with a vehicle history report and then prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially if the listing price looks unusually attractive. Because this model is aimed at families and long trips, it’s worth paying close attention to comfort features, electronics, and overall wear.

Which 2017 INFINITI QX60 trim should I buy?

The 2017 INFINITI QX60 is offered in 2 trim levels: base FWD trim, AWD trim.

Here's the short version:

• base FWD trim: This is the least expensive way into the QX60, starting at $43,100. It gives you the core luxury-family formula with the standard V6, front-wheel drive, and the roomy, upscale cabin that defines the model. If you want the best value and don’t need all-wheel drive, this is the trim to start with.
• AWD trim: This adds all-wheel drive and starts at $44,900 before extras. It’s the better pick if you want extra traction for bad weather or just prefer the added confidence of AWD, though it costs more and doesn’t change the QX60’s basic mission.

Safety content highlights available forward emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane-departure warning, blind-spot warning with rear cross-path detection, and predictive forward-collision warning.

What is the 2017 INFINITI QX60's resale value?

The current average of $11,886 sits slightly below last year's $13,080.

That decline suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable point if you’re planning to keep the vehicle for a while. For a future seller, the softer pricing means resale upside may be more limited than it was a year ago, so condition and maintenance history matter even more. Well-kept examples should still hold buyer interest because the QX60’s roomy, premium family-sUV appeal remains a clear selling point.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2017 INFINITI QX60 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2017 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2017 if:

• 31.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 55.6% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.13% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.
• The 2017 model adds a new 3.5-liter V6 with 295 horsepower and 270 pound-feet of torque, plus available hands-free power liftgate convenience.

The bottom line: The 2017 is a smart choice if you want the QX60’s roomy, premium family-SUV formula at a softened price and with strong owner satisfaction. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you can shop aggressively for a well-kept example near the low end of the range; if you want the broadest feature set and don’t mind paying more, a newer nearby year may be worth comparing.
