What should I look for when buying a used 2017 INFINITI QX60?

At 56.6% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and then prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially if the listing has any accident history or incomplete service records. Focus on overall condition, signs of wear in the cabin, and whether the technology and convenience features work as expected. Because this model is positioned as a premium family SUV, you’ll want to make sure the comfort and equipment that justify the price are still in good shape.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base FWD trim starts at a lower price point, while the AWD trim adds capability and a higher starting price; the cabin is described as comfortable and upscale, with easy-to-use controls and a well-thought-out interior.
• Powertrain: A 3.5-liter V6 makes 295 horsepower and 270 pound-feet of torque, paired with a CVT and either front-wheel drive or available all-wheel drive.
• Safety package: Available driver aids include forward emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane-departure warning, blind-spot warning with rear cross-path detection, and predictive forward-collision warning. Standard safety equipment includes front and side impact airbags, front and rear crumple-zone architecture, the LATCH child-seat anchoring system, and electronic brakeforce distribution.
• Infotainment: The infotainment system uses large, easy-to-use buttons and is described as more intuitive than some rival setups. The Theater Package adds a pair of 8-inch seatback monitors, two sets of headphones, an HDMI port, and Wi-Fi hotspot capability.
• Fuel efficiency: Front-wheel-drive versions return 20 mpg city and 27 mpg highway, while all-wheel-drive versions return 19 mpg city and 26 mpg highway.

Which 2017 INFINITI QX60 trim should I buy?

The 2017 INFINITI QX60 is offered in 2 trim levels: base FWD trim and AWD trim.

Here's the short version:
